Correlating Science and Spirituality

It is easy to see how the wisdom of the ancient scripture correlates with that of our modern sciences and humanities. The ineffable spirit of the scripture being the source of the universe of mind and matter correlates with ineffable energy of science as the source of the material universe. The three faculties of the human mind as envisaged by the scripture correlate with the structure of the mind as per Freudian and Jungian psychology.  They also correlate with perfectly the central nervous system of modern neurophysiology: the unconscious faculty of the mind with the reflexive nervous system ending at the brain stem, the subconscious with the reactive subcortical limbic structure and the conscious with the neocortex.
